In The Right Season

Everything has a season.  All things function within the Great Law.  It works the same for everything.  We see change for better or worse when the conditions are right and the principals of universal law are applied.

It is traditional Khotani belief that conditions of a negative or positive nature are the results of many factors.  However, they can only occur in the right season.  A number of universal factors must be considered.

When we speak of the Four Legs of The Buffalo we are referring to the age we are currently in.  For instance, if the majority of people seem to be more material minded, the age would indicate this.  However, the Four Legs of The Buffalo are only one of the universal laws that influence our earthly motivations.

The Sun, Moon and other Planets play an equally influential role in our lives.  They have short and long term effects upon the planet earth.  Each of these planets has characteristics that make up its nature.  The twelve signs of the Zodiac are very influential as well.

These universal forces have general affects as just mentioned as well as specific effects upon our individual lives.  The hour, day, week and year you were born reflect the influences of the planets, zodiac etc.  Your personality, attitude towards life, tendencies etc. are mere reflections of your Souls journey within universal law.

I remember as a young man wondering why more people were not driven to study the old ways with our elders.  I also noticed a sense of peace within the elders that things were as they should be.  My mind had a difficult time with this idea.  Yet, they remained in a place of peace and knowing.

In the right season all things find there place.  This is a universal law.  Yes, it can be extremely difficult to see a traditional culture on the brink of disappearing.  And yes, we should do everything in our power to help preserve these ancient ways.  However, we should pursue the path of knowing which has its roots in the ancient way, finding peace through Right Relationship.
