2012 - Khotani Concept of Ages

We have been asked on several occasions our thoughts on the coming 2012 scenario.  Since 2012 is based upon the Mayan calendar and their traditional view of life it would be highly dishonorable, not to mention the height of arrogance to speak authoritatively about another culture’s traditions.  However, we will comment briefly on the Khotani concept of ages.

In Khotani teaching we see unending cycles of time.  These cycles are usually referred to as legs of an animal or ages.  For instance, we might say that we are in the third leg of the Buffalo or the plant age.  Both would be correct.

Many people have a tendency to see things in a very negative nature.  2012 is often looked at as being ‘The End of Time’.  In Lehiyugese Khotani we ask why.  Ages are cycles of repetition that are part of the natural rhythms of the universe.

We are Soul’s on a physical journey.  This external or physical nature operates within sacred law.  We often refer to it as the Great Circle.  It moves in and out of the ages or legs.  Our Soul journeys on the road of time.  Not time in the linear sense, rather an age time.

These ages or legs bring with them a more or less spiritual essence.  For instance, the mineral age or *first leg of the buffalo is the least spiritual age.  We have 25% of our spiritual capacity.  The second leg has 50%, the third 75% and the fourth 100%.

Each leg has a tendency to pull us towards its essence.  In the first leg of the buffalo or mineral age we are influenced towards operating at a carnal level.  Where as in the fourth leg we are moved by the essence of the White Fire where all things are first and foremost spiritual.

It is important to remember that the ages or legs are ‘The Way’ of the universe.  They are cycles that are as natural as breathing.  The universal ages are the larger circles or macrocosm.  Within these larger circles are smaller circles or microcosms.  We see these throughout our daily lives.  The cycle of birth, life, death/rebirth is one example.

To be in ‘The Way’ is to be ‘In Time’.  Again, we are not speaking in the lineal sense but rather of an age of time.  This is also referred to as ‘walking the good road’.  We walk with an understanding of the age and its influence upon all things.  To be ‘In Right Relationship’ requires that we have a thorough understanding of the ages.

Your ability to comprehend the Four Legs of The Buffalo cannot be filtered through the eyes of man made religions.  They will only lead you to a so-called outcome of a final destruction that has little to no purpose.  Time of age is always operating with a purposeful will.

As we ascend the Zopthla’s steps towards the Great Square we are reminded of the four steps and their relationship to the Four Legs of The Buffalo, the Four Legs of The Panther (or kingdoms) and the Four Log Fire.

*Some refer to the fourth leg as the mineral age and move up to the first leg as the most spiritual.  Both are correct.
